You have ever wonder why churches have a lot of money even when their followers live in poverty?
This is because the churches created a software for the mind called "religion" which allow them to control the mind of the people.
The mainstream religion is the number one enemy of the true spirituality.
If you have one religion. then all of your opinions must be combative with the dogma you are follow.IE if you say there is reincarnation then according to the "dogma" you cant be Christian.
Also many people don't choose their religion but just their follow the religion of their parents.
Many religions are economic foundations like "Scientology" and most of religions want to play role(or playing) in the politics (like tibetian buddhism,catholic christianity, orthodox christianity, judaism, islam etc.
If someone realy want to find the light then he must follow a spiritual path indepentent from the religion. for the entity named christ there are no christians, and for the entity named mohamed there are no muslims, from the entity named buddha their are no buddhists.
This labels there are created by humans and the NWO to keep us "programmed".
The mainstream religions are softwares of the NWO just like the political ideologies.

I read somewhere that there is nothing wrong with......(insert any religion or even 'democracy').... it's just that it hasn't been tried yet!!

Mind you, let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. The basis of all religions is ...LOVE.. not the the romantic sort, the unconditional variety, the most powerful energy in the universe. Unfortunately these pure teachings have been hi-jacked by, i believe, external forces whose agenda is to control and 'farm' the human race. And WE let them!! FFS! ...... Enough!
